Plant and Process Design

With extensive experience in the process industry, Leanbiz Consulting provides services in Factory and Plant layout designs, writing procurement specifications and Project Engineering.

Process design starts with helping to ensure that the chosen process technology is appropriate and viable. A further focus is to future proof the design through modular system design. Leanbiz leverages its systems engineering expertise to define systems requirements that capture the client's design intent and allows for effective contracting.

Workshops involving process analysis are held with the manufacturing and R&D teams prior to procurement to reduce capital investment and to ensure that CAPEX is maximized on plant and equipment that is standardized and future proofed.

Plant layouts are 3D modeled to ensure that human factors engineering and material flow are factored into the design prior to translation into engineering requirements. These are then split into procurement packages that safeguard the client's long term interests.
